What is frequency controller FQ2NG, and how does it work?
The frequency controller FQ2NG was made to make sure that vibrators work as well as possible. It does this by letting a 0/10V (4/20mA) PLC signal control frequency and vibration amplitude, with or without an optional amplitude sensor SIND3.
Also, the ability to change the frequency lets all kinds of slippage caused by the different mechanical properties of the system, the different materials, and the temperature be taken into account. This enables optimal performance in all circumstances. There is also an ON-status signal that can run a PNP overflow sensor and another PNP sensor (delay 4/20 seconds). Because of how adaptable it is, the frequency controller is great for all applications where the size and weight of the pieces being handled change often. The power part is galvanically isolated from the regulatory circuits. The controller can give a voltage of 200 V at a maximum current of 6 Amps and a ramp (0/5 sec) start-up, and it has an intuitive interface. The regulation mechanism is microprocessor-based and permits a large linear control range (5/140 Hz) (5/300 Hz upon request). The system can be configured to use a SIND3 amplitude sensor to compensate for load fluctuations on the vibrator or blower (delayed), missing pieces flow (0–240 sec), and relative alarm (24 Vdc). To finish the FQ2 DIG operations, you have to put in a password to stop unauthorized changes.
