Suppression of Dust by Dry Fog Agglomeration
By agglomerating and removing airborne dust particles (PM-10) from various material handling and processing activities, our technology makes use of a unique kind of air-atomizing nozzle that generates a very dry fog (water droplets 10 microns or smaller). It has been demonstrated that fugitive dust from a variety of material handling sites can be greatly reduced using DSI dry fog systems. It also refers to conveyor transfer points, truck loading silos, rail dumps, ship loaders, crushers, screens, stack outs, and reclamation tunnels. To create a highly dry fog, these devices use compressed air and regular water (1-10 micron droplet size). These tiny water droplets adhere to dust particles of similar size, 10 microns or smaller, and form an aggregate (PM-10). After becoming sufficiently heavy to be taken from the air and fall back into the process, the slightly moistened dust particles get heavier. It is significant to note that we did not wet the actual substance; only the dust. Because of this, the product doesn’t get very wet and uses less water (typically less than 0.05 percent by weight). Our system has various benefits, including straightforward maintenance, simple installation, and variable system setup. Ventilation systems, traditional water spray systems, and chemical injection systems cannot compare with the total capital expenditure, operational costs, and system performance of this system. Our use of pre-assembled, easily installed components contained in protective enclosures is partly responsible for these benefits. For the best nozzle location, individual nozzle mounts are employed in most applications. We provide all parts for full systems, including air compressors, air receiver stations, pumps, filters, pressure controlling modules, nozzles, and supply lines.
Systems for Wind Fence and Wind Screen
In order to help manage and confine dust around open disposal points, wind fence systems are frequently employed in conjunction with fogging. They are also utilised as a standalone solution to lower wind speeds near stockpiles for stack-out operations. Using this special knitted polyester material, wind can be reduced by at least 75%. In comparison to building storage structures, this also provides a considerable savings. We provide the basic fence design, standoff brackets, attachment hardware, installation guidance, and windscreen fabric. Additionally, we collaborate with other companies to offer installation, detailed engineering, and computer modelling.
Hydraulic Water Spray Dust Suppression Systems
It is sometimes preferable to moisten the process material directly with water. This kind of system is employed in processes where soaking the process material is not an issue, such as conveyor stack outs to storage heaps. Some systems come with modulating water regulators that can be tuned to keep the right balance of water flow to material process flow. We provide all required parts, such as filters, pressure pumps, distribution modules, pressure regulation modules, electrical control modules, supply lines, nozzle manifolds, and nozzles.
