Introduction
DPH Engineering are Authorized Distributors of GAR SEAL BUTTERFLY VALVES. GAR SEAL BUTTERFLY VALVES are used extensively where corrosive and toxic media need to be reliably controlled. They are typically used for accurate control, throttling, and shut-off duties in a wide range of industries, including chemical, petrochemical, chlorine, paper, electro-plating, and more. GAR SEAL BUTTERFLY VALVES offer reduced maintenance requirements and increased operational reliability. GAR SEAL BUTTERFLY VALVES are renowned throughout the chemical, petrochemical, process, and many other industrial sectors for their quality, performance and reliability in demanding conditions. GAR SEAL BUTTERFLY VALVES set the standard in TA-Luft compliance, plus the valves are certified with SIL 3 according to EN 61508. They know: high-quality valves have a good return on investment. The economic advantages with reduced maintenance, troublefree operation and superior service life are convincing. GAR SEAL BUTTERFLY VALVES define standards. The antistatic liner SAFETY-SEAL, valves tested according to “TA-Luft”, MOBILE-SEAL valves for transportation business with TÜ.AGG.044-84 is granted the type test approval mark No. for tanks for transport of dangerous goods – some examples for successful Garlock valve and the applications.
Valve Body:
Tested and certified by the TÜV, Garlock valve bodies meet the requirements against internal pressure according to the DIN 3840.
Flange design:
Depending on the mounting situation all diameters and liner types are available in both, wafer body or lug body design.
Lining:
A void-free lining of 3 mm min. is guaranteed. High density and structure of the crystals in the lining components protect against permeation. Provides superior service life and economical advantages.
Body materials:
- Ductile iron GGG 40.3 according to AD-leaflet W 3/2.
- Heat resistant ferrite cast steel GS-C 25 according to AD-leaflet W5.
- Special steel casting 1.4581 according to AD-leaflet W5.
Features And Benefits :
Pumps for sucker-rod lifted wells should be selected on the basis of numerous variables that are provided by the well, the operating conditions, and the life of the pump. The main variables to consider are as follows:
- produced fluids
- Produced-fluids corrosivity
- Required production rate vs. pump capacity

Materials:
The GAR SEAL BUTTERFLY VALVES valves are available in four different liner materials. Discs are available in different metals, too. For all operating conditions, a unit quality and safety level is guaranteed.
Gar Seal Butterfly Valves Stem Packings:
The shaft outlet at the top flange of the valve is sealed with two O-Rings against atmospheric corrosion. GARSEAL valves meet the requirements of the German clean air.
